LEAbot

LEAbot combines XARION’s LEA technology – contact-free ultrasonic inspection – with robotic motion control for flexible, automated NDT of complex 3D components. Mobile and adaptable, it can be integrated with various robotic platforms and deployed directly in production or MRO environments.

The system enables fully contact-free inspection of curved, contoured, and hard-to-reach structures. It is ideal for confined spaces and large components alike.

XARION’s UT software LEAstudio is fully integrated into LEAbot, enabling real-time control of inspection routines, data acquisition, and analysis within robotic workflows. It supports robot-guided LEA measurements on complex, curved surfaces, with results visualized as 3D C-scans. All data is intrinsically represented as a 3D point cloud, enabling the inspection of arbitrary geometries.
