NDT Marine is certified to carry out Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement by all major Classification Societies, such as:
Structures, components, and systems are tested to evaluate their properties to find characteristic differences or welding defects through Ultrasound, Dye Penetrant, and Magnetizable Particle Testing.
Thickness measurement of steel plates, profiles, and pipes, with standard ultrasonic instruments, according to the classification societies and maritime authorities’ requirements.
High penetration ink is used to detect surface flaws, such as pores and/or fissures. We also provide certification of parts and devices.
The procedure of magnetized particles is used together with the mechanical action of special electromagnets to identify surface flaws.
Testing for verifying Safe Conditions on devices and instruments used for cargo handling: Strength measuring on cargo equipment, hoist capacity, and crane quality, among others.
